 I think we have enough of questions now to consider for our focus groups and interviews. To consolidate it here are:

4 main question category

• žTime management skills and daily routines of the respondent .
  
• žLocation of their current means of home messaging.
  
• žDescription of usage, functions they are using in their old system.
  
• žMain complaints they have in using their old system, ease in new  technology.

In order to complete this project more user research required

In order to complete the user research i am going to interview people randomly in order to get the most related information that me and my team requires for the project.

The questions that i would like to ask in this interview are listed below:

1. Do you leave in a Flat or House?

2. Do you share the place that you are leaving with other people/family or do you leave by your self?

3. Do you have to share any additional information in between you and the rest that are leaving at the same place? 

4.Do you need to pass any massages to each other?

5. How do you pass a messages one to each other?

6. Is this way of sharing data satisfies you and the other data sharer?

7. Do you think that you require a something like a Home Message system?

I have asked members of my family these questions and most of them communicate with each other through the means of a mobile phone. This is their only means of communicating with each other.

People interviewed:- 12
Target Audience:- Family (Family, Neighbourhood families)

I have interviewed the people , some of them were my family members and neighbourhood. The age group varies from 18 years old to 60 years old. And by profession wisethey range from student to IT supporter, Lawyers to Accountant ,
Selfemployed to Unemployed.

Regarding to their profession and working hours , there is slight communication problem between the household. 4 out of 12 said using mobile phones they communicate with each other anyhow.The remaining 8 out of 12 said because of their profession and timings they cant even contact each other through mobile phones, so they write notes at home.

Location:-

Location wise, most of the families use kitchen ,near the staircase or sometimes on the door. There were other answers like living area, dining area, computer desk and on TV.

What kind of messaging system they use to communicate? :-

They also said these forms of messaging system are very easy and simple to use, cheap and reliable.

Well thats all what i got from my findings so far. Most of the views were same. many of them said they are using mobile Phones as their messaging system.

Chintan we can take pictures on Wednesday when we gonna do our group meeting..... and i m gonna post some user research/focus group research tonite and tmrw morning... so you can have a look !!! I will take some pictures on the research about the family organization which i am doing....!!!
