I am going to ask questions that are related to the messaging system such as:
Is there any special user requirements from the user?
Who is going to use the system?
How would user interact with the system?
Where would you like to have the messaging system?
How big would you like the messaging system to be?
Do you want it to be only home based or would you like to have the option take it out when go on road?
Do you think that only one messaging system is enough for the whole house?
If not, how many would you like to have?
Would you like the different messaging systems to be linked with each other in order to share information?
How would you like to input data?
How would you like to get the outcome from the messaging system?
How would you like to recognize that the system is sending you message but not another member from family?
Would you like to have User name and Password?
Do you want to chose a different color in order to recognize your messages?

Dude, good set of questions. But I think there are not very apt for the first coursework, cud be very useful for the IInd one. The reason being the questions are too specific, technical, you are actually tryin to get the user design the device. As Serengul said in the previous lab that we can even hide the fact tht we are making some kinda machine. I think it'll be good we can just find their basic needs/usage/problems which are facing using conventional means of information sharing.
